Property and Congregational Finance Committee
Finance: To review and adjust annual Ministry and Mission Allocations as appropriate; to monitor payments by congregations; to provide assistance and support to congregations in managing their finances, including the provision of technical support to their treasurers and advice on audit.
Property: To furnish Presbytery with a team of suitably qualified and/or experienced people to oversee this aspect of the work of Presbytery; to inspect and verify the Property Registers of each congregation; to establish and fund an inspection cycle of the properties of congregations; to work with congregations in presenting applications for funding for development work on their buildings and for obtaining permission for such work; to provide advice to congregations on the use of their buildings including heating, insulation and green issues.
