About the Church

For over 150 years, Bo’ness Old Kirk has stood at the heart of life in Bo’ness.

While our current home has stood for over 125 years, our roots go back to at least the 12th century and our original home can still be found in the beautiful grounds of Kinneil House. Though a lot has changed in the world since then, we remain committed to sharing the good news of Christ and we offer a warm welcome to all.

We realise that it’s not easy to being a Christian today but we hope that the activities and fellowship which we offer will help strengthen and enlighten on us on what it means to follow Jesus. However, while some may view religious life as dull or boring we don’t agree! Fellowship is the true heart of Christian life and is a key focus of what we do at the Old Kirk. You can find details of all the groups which we provide a home to and all our events/activities at www.bokonline.org.uk and www.facebook.com/BonessOldKirk but everything we do comes with 1 promise – a warm welcome!

We hope you enjoy finding out more about us and looking forward to welcoming you to the Old Kirk soon.
